Steamboat Springs Clinic
Our Steamboat Springs Physiatry clinic treats spine, muscle, joint and nerve pain and sports injuries.
We start by listening carefully to each patient to understand their symptoms and needs. Each patient’s experience is used to guide a full musculoskeletal exam to discover what the root cause of limited mobility, reduced function or pain might be. On-site X-ray and diagnostic ultrasound augment the exam and enable us to build a specific treatment plan for each patient.
As a private practice clinic, we take time with each patient, we listen and build trusted relationships.

Founders Dr. Cliff Gronseth and Dr. John Tobey have been serving Steamboat Springs and Northwestern Colorado for years. Committed to expanding non-surgical care options to the community, Spine West opened its own dedicated clinic in 2023. Drs Gronseth and Tobey, along with Dr. Bradley Gale and local resident Dr. Erin Bomberg, staff the Pine Grove clinic.
